If you’re always striving to achieve other goals and plans, you’re going to love this post! It’s all about letting go, because the Law of Attraction works best when we’re happy, relaxed and peaceful!
It makes perfect sense when you think about how the Law of Attraction works; we create our lives through our thoughts, always attracting more of what we’re focused on. So if you’re locked into a pattern of always striving to be-do-have more, you’re setting yourself up to experience more of that feeling – a feeling of lack.
How can you sincerely feel grateful if you’re continually looking for ways things could be better? I’m not saying never have goals – I do believe we have to focus our thoughts beyond what we’re currently experiencing in order to grow and thrive. However, there’s a lot to be said for balance.
Goals have their place, but I feel we should expend at least as much energy in appreciating what we’ve already accomplished. Give yourself some credit! Celebrate those ‘small’ wins each day – look around at the positive aspects of your life, and pat yourself on the back! You created it all, good and bad – that’s just how the Law of Attraction works.
According to Abraham, the perfect balance is to be happy with where you are, as well as being excited for more. In my experience I find the 1st part often gets forgotten. In the excitement to be-do-have it all, that which we already have tends to pale by comparison.
I invite you to try an experiment with me. For the rest of the work week, let go of those pressing goals. Take a time out – revel in what you’ve already accomplished in all areas of your life. Relive those successes, savor them anew. That fresh perspective of success you already enjoy will go along way toward achieving those goals, because you’ll be projecting all those positive feelings into your future!

Love & Light, Alexandria
What an awesome Idea Alexandria…I’m in. Will do for the next week. I always like to try new things and this is gonna be interesting. I will do my work with no goal in mind. Let my mind relax and be grateful for what I have accomplished. Just writing now my thoughts are flooded with the accomplishments I have made, and I’m not even sitting in a relaxed state. Will be back next week. This is fun!
Donna
Alexandria,
I think most people (including myself) have problem with the last step of the deliberate attraction, which is letting “it” in.
As Abraham says : It will happen if just get out of the way 🙂
It is so true we are struggling trying to things happen and we’re getting nowhere. If could just sit back and relax and let things happen ( by being in the natural flow of the Universe) then our dreams would have a chance to manifest.:)
thanks for sharing the insights!
Akos
I agree Akos – we do tend to get in our own way don’t we! Then ask ourselves what we’re doing wrong, etc. I’ve just adopted a new affirmation – feel free to use & share! It goes like this “Live is easy and fun for me because I’m so GOOD at the Law of Attraction! I’m always attracting good things!” Starting your day affirming this, and saying throughout the day, will go a long way toward letting all that good stuff in. Here’s to living in the Vortex! Always great advice and inspiration!

Alexandria
Alexandria, Have completed your challenge and here is what happened: Talk about the Law of Attraction…
HERE IS MY RESULTS: MONDAY: Met with a client and spent the rest of the day cooking for health, and exercising in the gym, noticing how important it is to take car of my body. TUESDAY: Met with client and she was a realtor, she went back to her office and a buyer called offering me TWICE what my house was worth…hmmm. WEDNESDAY: Taking car of business with an “OPEN MINDSET” took the day to relax and spent it all on writing like I never did before! THURSDAY: More opportunities knocked on my door. FRIDAY:
spent time at the antique mall where I have a booth selling because that is one of my passions. Met awesome people and someone offered me a FREE CHAIR much needed that is perfect in my living room. BOTTOM LINE: my mindset was OPEN AND THINGS WERE FLOWING IN AT RANDOM!
Awesome Donna! Especially the house offer – how great is that! I love hearing success stories like this, and I’m sure other readers will find it inspiring as well, thanks so much for sharing with us! Isn’t it amazing what can happen when we get out of the mindset that we have to force things into place – so much easier just to relax and breathe and let the Universe do what it does best, trusting it’s for our highest good and the highest good of all. Now that you’ve proven the value to yourself, I’m betting you don’t go back any time soon!
