Best Stress Relief Activities

One of my favorite Best Stress Relief Activities is hanging out with friends and family!

Got a big dream? Awesome! One thing about goals and dreams – as exciting as they are, they can easily become a source of stress – one of the best stress relief activities to counter-act this is one of my favorite Abraham techniques – acting ‘as if’. (More on this Here)

For example, let’s say your goal is to reach and maintain your goal weight. Maybe this was even your New Year’s resolution – only the opposite seems to be happening. Your clothes are getting tighter, not looser, and panic is starting to set in.
You see others your age also struggling with weight, and you begin to wonder if you can really achieve this goal, or if you should just shop for bigger clothes! This can be very stressful. Being stressed makes you reach for goodies, and though they taste good in the moment, you know where those calories are going to end up! More stress!
The way to combat this, and stop that stress in it’s tracks, is to use the power of your imagination to generate the feelings you believe you’ll have then, now. Not only is this one of my favorite of the best stress relief activities, it’s a tried & true Law of Attraction technique for creating what you really want in life.

Top Tips To Stay In The Vortex While Sick

index

If you follow Abraham-Hicks, as I do, you’re familiar with the Vortex. If not, in a nutshell the vortex is how Abe describes the a state of vibration in which you are aligned with your non-physical self.
When you’re feeling good, you’re in the vortex and are a match to all the things you want. When you feel bad you’re out of it, and are a match to what you don’t want.
Some days it’s very easy to be in the vortex. Other days, when you wake up with a bad cold, flu, or something more serious, it’s more challenging. The more time you spend in the Vortex, the fewer bugs you tend to pick up. That’s because it’s not about the latest out-break, ultimately whether you sick or not is about your dominant vibration.
That said, some years the bugs are more voracious than others. And maybe you’ve increased your exposure because you’ve been helping others who are infected. Either way, getting sick is not a failure and certainly not a reason to beat up on yourself, that would just cause your vibration to plummet more. As Abe would say, it’s just contrast. The worse you feel, the more ‘healthy’ you put in your vortex, which is of benefit to you when you get back in there!
Here are my top tips for staying in the vortex even when feeling poorly:

While convalescing, spend your time doing something uplifting
I recommend listening to Abraham-Hicks, there are many clips available on YouTube if you don’t have your own collection. During my recent bout with Strep Throat I spent a lot of time on the couch in front of the fire, watching Abe DVDs. Just listening to their positive message lifted my spirits.

Practice “acting as if” you were well
Convalescing is an excellent time to practice mastering the Law of Attraction by taking control of your thoughts.
‘Acting as if’ is an Abe technique in which you practice the feelings you’ll feel when you’ve achieved your goal – in this case, returning to health. To do this, deliberately choose your thoughts. Rather than telling anyone who’ll listen how miserable you feel, direct your thoughts and words to how good it will feel to feel good again!

Write Lists of Appreciation
One thing about being sick, it sure makes you appreciate your health. Use this to your advantage by writing lists of appreciation about it.
Remember a time when you felt vibrantly healthy. Savour this feeling, and take advantage of  this new-found hyper-awareness by writing a list about what you most enjoy about being healthy.
Concentrate on really feeling this appreciation – the longer you hold yourself in that vibration, the more evidence of it will be attracted to you, through the Law of Attraction. Following these tips will not only hasten your recovery, it will make the illness that much easier to bare.

The Law of Attraction Works

the law of attraction works imageIf you’re always striving to achieve other goals and plans, you’re going to love this post! It’s all about letting go, because the Law of Attraction works best when we’re happy, relaxed and peaceful!
It makes perfect sense when you think about how the Law of Attraction works; we create our lives through our thoughts, always attracting more of what we’re focused on. So if you’re locked into a pattern of always striving to be-do-have more, you’re setting yourself up to experience more of that feeling – a feeling of lack.

Stress Relief Activities

Is your relationship stressing you out? You need stress relief activities! Solve difficulties and love the people in your life again, warts and all, with a little help from the Law of Attraction!
Here I’ll share some favorite techniques, stress relief activities that actually fix the relationship problem. I’ve used these Abraham-Hicks processes to fix relationship issues (big and small) and keep my relationships strong and happy. I address this fully in my online course Wishful Thanking.

Abraham tells us our outer lives are a direct reflection of what’s going on inside, so if I notice ornery behavior in someone else, I know I’m on the same vibration.
So instead of getting stressed out and blaming them for my stress, I ask myself where I’m demonstrating the same in my life, and where I can offer more love. When I make the effort to improve my mood and raise my vibration, I often notice radical shifts in the other person as well.
By taking the time to really appreciate someone’s finer qualities, I notice more and more of them, through the power of the Law of Attraction. When I think of someone with love, really feeling it in my heart and projecting it to them, I notice definite improvements in the relationship very quickly.
Because we’re all connected, our loved ones (and everyone else) know exactly how we feel about them, so you can’t just give it lip service, you have to dig down (sometimes deep!) for your genuine feelings. It may not be nice to fool Mother Nature, but it’s impossible to fool the Law of Attraction!

Granted, sometimes you really have to look for their positive aspects. But
you only have to come up with one! Focus on it, pondering the reasons you value this attribute, and the Law of Attraction will bring more to you. Magic!
I love Abraham’s Book of Positive Aspects technique, where you list all the things you love about all the people who are important to you. Guaranteed to fix relationship problems! Then, if you’re having a tough time relating to them, you can refer to the book and remind yourself why love having this person in your life!
Another stress relief activities tool in my relationship tool box is Abraham’s ‘Wouldn’t it be nice if . . .’ process.
This process works like a charm, because when you really know what you don’t want, you really know what you do want. So I just pull out my journal and write about the situation as if it’s ALREADY been resolved precisely the way I want it.
Give yourself some time for this one, really get into the feeling place, and you’ll see results. It may take more than one sitting, but you will see results!
If I’m really at a loss and don’t know what to do, I pull out the big guns. I call on my Angels. They always know how to fix relationship problems! I just ask them to bring about a healing that is in the highest good of all concerned. Then I take my mind completely off the situation, knowing it’s being handled by the relationship experts!
If necessary, I’ll use a releasing technique such as EFT to address any negative feelings I’m having and shift myself back into a positive vibe that will allow the healing to take place.
I hope these stress relief activities help you fix relationship issues. I welcome your comments and any suggestions you might have!

Color your world with Color Therapy

Color your world

When you want to change your inner landscape, color therapy can help you color your world more to your liking!
What color are you today? Are you feeling blue, or in the pink? A little green with envy perhaps? The fact that color is such an integral part of our language reflects the powerful impact it has on us.
The colors we surround ourselves with affect and reflect our health and emotions, as well the image we project to others. Our eyes can distinguish approximately 1,000 distinct colors and over 2,000 shades and tints; we respond to them instinctively, feeling drawn to the ones that make us feel good.
Civilizations as early as the ancient Egyptians realized that color has powerful energies, and used color therapy to help restore physical, mental and spiritual well being.
Modern science has established that our bodies need a daily minimum of 15 minutes exposure to full-spectrum light (white light or sunlight) to maintain health and prevent symptoms similar to jet-lag.
Color rays are made up of varying light and energy frequencies, and each band has a different healing quality. Red, at one end of the spectrum, has a long wavelength, a slow vibration, and a stimulating action whereas violet, at the other, has a short wavelength, vibrates quickly, and has a calming action.
All colors have both positive and negative aspects; too much or too little can cause imbalance in the system. A color therapy practitioner may suggest that you eat more of a certain color of food, change a decorating scheme to incorporate a specific shade, or add certain colors to your wardrobe. They may also suggest different ways of treating any color deficiencies. In color therapy, colors can be applied to the body physically, through exposure to light rays, or mentally, through visualization or meditation.
With color therapy, your colors can through meditation and creative visualization as you are led on an imaginary journey full of color to balance your chakras.
Once you become familiar with the the energies associated with different colors you can let your intuition be your guide. A quick wardrobe check will reveal a preference for a particular color; preferences or strong aversions to a shade is a sign your body needs that particular wave length.
What Different colors Represent
The color waves we draw to ourselves radiate out to everyone we come in contact with, enabling us to have a positive impact on the world simply by harmonizing our colors. Each color in the spectrum represents an emotional state, and can be used to treat different conditions:
Red represents passion and energy, and is a strong stimulant.
Very little is used in color healing because it can cause inflammation and over-excitability, though small amounts can be helpful in treating anemia and depression.
Orange has a freeing action on the body, and is frequently used in color healing because of the energy and the wisdom it imparts. Orange is also useful in promoting self-confidence, and healing nervous complaints.
Yellow, the color of joy and happiness, has a cleansing and purifying effect on the body. It also stimulates sluggish digestion and enhances concentration.
Green combines the wisdom of yellow with the truth of blue. It acts as a harmonizer, is beneficial for nervous complaints, and imparts peace of mind and clear memory.
Blue is soothing and promotes healing. It reduces fevers and blood pressure, acts as an antiseptic and pain-killer, and encourages acceptance of things that cannot be changed, bringing peace of mind.
Indigo is a purifying color that calms the mind. It’s used to enhance psychic development, and is helpful in treating migraine and other painful conditions.
Violet helps treat all nervous and mental disturbances and is beneficial for lung disorders. So you can see how important color is to our health, and how it can be used to keep our chakras clear and balanced.
