Stress Relief Activities
Counting your blessings can be the best of all stress relief activities! Even when things aren’t going exactly as you’d prefer, you want to stay positive, to attract positive things. So, what wonders have you created in your life today?
As deliberate creators, we’re taught to keep our eyes on the prize. But that can often lead to frustration when things are taking ‘too long’ (in our opinion!) or not manifesting in quite the way it ‘should’ (again, according to us!).
We tend to forget all the wonderful things we’ve already drawn in to our lives. I was recently reminded of this with a passage from The Secret Daily Teachings, which reads as follows:
“Think of all the good things in your life. And now realize that you brought them all into your life. Your thoughts and feelings moved the energies of the Universe to bring all those good things to you. You are a powerful being.”
I found this quote so meaningful it’s now taped to my fridge where it can be a daily reminder!
It also ties in nicely with a lecture I just listened to where Law of Attraction coach Christy Whitman talked about three little questions that can change your life.
1) What do I want?
2) Why do I want it?
3) What’s the feeling of having it?
You can apply these questions to any topic to bring clarity to your true desires. These thought-provoking questions are as powerful as they are simple. But the true power comes from taking a fourth step —
Stepping into the Feeling!
This step pulls it all together. For me, stepping into the feeling means one thing — VISUALIZING!
Law of Attraction experts agree that visualization is one of the best stress relief activities most important aspects of deliberate creation. The good news is, it’s fun and easy, doesn’t have to cost a dime, is easily mastered,
Just watch a little child at play! They enter fully into the world of their imagination, making it just as real as their ‘real world’. And that, my friends, is the trick.
If you really commit to the vision of your future, drawing on all of your senses to make it feel real, and stay in that happy state, you will move all the powers of the Universe to bring your vision to fruition.
Some things take longer than others, due to it’s natural gestation period, and our deep-seated belief that they will. Should that be the case with you, it’s time to spend even more time looking at your vision board, Mind Movies, or simply contemplating how wonderful things are now that your dreams have become reality.
I find reflecting back on wonderful things I’ve already attracted into my life is a powerful way to reinforce the fact that I am a powerful creator. This is often all I need to strengthen my conviction, and to know in my heart of hearts that I can and WILL achieve my new goals. Perhaps it will do the trick for you as well!
