Dwell In The Light, All Is Well

Channeled message from The Light

“We love when you call on us because it is such an active reminder that you are spirit and energy first! Breathe in that light. Breathe in the knowing that all is well. Breath in the knowing, and remembering that you are creating your reality.

All is well, all is well. These things happening in your world right now are playing out for such good reason. These things that are occurring in your world right now are clearing out the old, making way for the new world that you desire so much. That all of you desire so much.

Remembering you are all one, hold that love in your heart. We feel the fear running in you. We would like you to switch that train track and focus on the love you feel in your heart. Focus on all the people you love, the country you love, and remember you are all connected, you are all part of the whole. The love you are generating is going out into the world. Hold the image of this beautiful peaceful planet. Hold that image. All is well

Stress Coping Strategies – Lavender

Lavender for stress coping

When it comes to stress coping strategies, Lavender is my favorite essential oil. Aromatherapy is a very effective way to reduce stress – here’s why.

Have you ever caught a whiff of perfume on a breeze and suddenly been filled with memories of another time or place?

Aromas have the power to evoke distant memories of people and places because of all our senses, the sense of smell is most strongly linked to the subconscious. Scents are capable of producing immediate, intense responses because they are processed by the part of the brain that controls memory and emotion.

Just a quick whiff of lovely Lavender calms nerves, quiets anxiety and promotes relaxation. Heck, even visualizing fields of waving lavender flowers will reduce stress!

Not only is Lavender a beautiful flower used in a wide variety of products like soaps and lotions, it’s unique flavor makes it a popular addition to chocolate, cookies and jams. It’s also one of two essential oils that can be applied directly to the skin, without first being mixed into a carrier oil. I often use it as perfume, dabbing it on my wrists, behind ears and under my nose so I continuously breathe in all it’s goodness.

Lavender is so gentle you can add a drop to a baby’s bath to calm them and help them (and you!) sleep longer. For a soothing, relaxing bath, try adding eight drops of Lavender oil to a full tub, or four drops a foot bath. Spraying essential oil mixed with water adds a pleasant fragrance to the room as well as calming the nerves and promoting a sense of well-being in everyone in it.

You also may want to keep stress at bay by sleeping with a ‘dream pillow’ filled with dried lavender. Dabbing lavender on the soles of your feet will also promote deep restful sleep.

Give lavender a try, and it’s sure to become one of your ‘go to’ stress coping strategies! Aromatherapy is Heaven Scent

Aromatherapy is heaven scent! Have you ever caught a whiff of perfume on a breeze and suddenly been transported to another time or place? Aromas have the power to evoke distant memories of people and places because of all our senses, the sense of smell is most strongly linked to the subconscious. Helen Keller said, “Smell is a potent wizard that transports us across thousands of miles and all the years we have lived.”

Scents are capable of producing immediate, intense responses because they are processed by the part of the brain that controls memory and emotion. The sense of smell is also strongly linked to many of our most basic survival instincts, such as appetite and sleep functions. Aromatherapy uses this connection to create a sense of well-being and promote healing.

Aromatherapy offers a gentle, soothing, and effective treatment for many conditions, including depression, anxiety, viral infections, malfunctioning organs and skin disorders, as well as improving circulation and memory.

Aromatherapists use essential oils (pure, concentrated plant extracts) for their fragrance and ability to produce profound changes in the mind and body. They’re particularly effective in treating stress-related conditions, and are frequently used as home remedies.

The practice of using essential oils dates back to ancient Egypt, Greece and Rome, when extracts of specific plants’ flowers, buds, roots, and bark were used to treat disease.
It was revived in the 1930’s when chemist Rene-Maurice Gattefosse burned his hand and plunged it into a container of pure lavender oil for relief. His hand healed in hours, leading Gattefosse and other scientists to pursue further experimentation and develop aromatherapy treatments still in use today.

Essential oils have varying physical and psychological benefits. Their properties can be antiseptic, warming, cooling, astringent, stimulating, soothing, relaxing, sedative, decongestant or antispasmodic.

The highly concentrated, flammable oils are extracted either through steam distillation or by cold-pressing a specific part of the plant. Then they’re mixed with a carrier oil such as almond oil, or diluted in alcohol before being inhaled, applied to the skin or sprayed in the air.

In Aromatherapy it’s believed that certain aromas can improve your sense of well-being and alleviate emotion related disorders. Various studies that measured the heart rate, muscle tension and skin temperature of test subjects before and after inhaling different scents support this belief.
Studies demonstrated how aromas affect an individual’s stress, behavior and performance levels, establishing that inhaling certain fragrances caused subjects’ positive moods to increase, and negative moods to decrease.

Inhaled aromatic molecules stimulate odor-sensing nerves as they enter the nasal cavity, sending impulses to the limbic system that trigger a calming or energizing effect on the body, depending on the oil used. When combined with massage, they’re absorbed into the blood and circulated throughout the body.

Whether aromas work by stimulating glands to produce hormones that fight pain and inflammation, or by reacting with hormones and enzymes in the bloodstream, aromatherapy is currently enjoying the sweet smell of success as its popularity soars!

Top 3 Tips to Cultivate Gratitude

My top 3 tips to cultivate gratitude will help you feel better fast! Gratitude has been called the most spiritual of all the emotions. It’s also one of the most powerful habits you can cultivate to help create a prosperous fulfilling life!
When you feel gratitude, you can’t be angry or afraid. These emotions simply cannot inhabit your body at the same time. Feeling gratitude and appreciation puts you in a high-flying vibration that draws other wonderful things to you to be grateful for!
Cultivating an attitude of gratitude is as simple and basic as counting your blessings. There are may ways to incorporate this beautiful, powerful feeling into your life – here are my top 3 tips to do it:
1)  Gratitude Lists
Writing gratitude lists is simply counting your blessings and writing them down! It’s great to have a special journal for this, then whenever you need a lift, you need only review your book to be reminded of all the good things in your life!
I recommend you write 5 items before bed. This sets you up for success, because your sub-conscious will keep processing these thoughts as you sleep, and you’ll wake up in a more positive state of mind.
Then, in the morning, write 5 more things you’re grateful for. Spend a moment thinking about each one, dwell in those beautiful feelings.
This sets a powerfully positive tone for your day, and because you know you’ll need 5 more positive things to write that night, you’ll subconsciously be on the look-out for more things to be grateful for all day.
2) Gratitude Walks
As you begin your day, say “thank” with one foot and “you” with the other. Thank you is a beautiful powerful mantra! And by actively choosing this as your ‘go to” thought, you’re taking control of your thought processes, leaving less room for negative habitual thoughts.
Taking a walk in nature is the perfect time and place for a gratitude walk, which is also like a moving meditation. Simply focus on gratitude, either repeating the thank-you mantra, or by focusing on things you’re grateful for, like green grass, sunshine, birds singing, and being able to walk. Not only will you be burning calories and building muscle, you’ll be developing your gratitude muscle, paving the way for even better things to come your way!
3) Speaking Gratitude
It’s all to easy to do these practices, then slip back into familiar internal and external dialogue about things you don’t like — about the government, neighbors, your body, your boss. With a little practice you’ll find it easy to turn that around.
Just say the opposite, find something good in all situations. It’s always there, though you may have to dig a bit. The more you make the effort, the easier it gets to be positive even if those around you are not.
Put these principles into practice, and you’ll see your life get better and better. Try and see! For more practical stress solutions, please visit my Wishful Thanking page.

The Benefits of Oil Pulling

If you’re going to swish cocoanut oil around in your mouth, you’re going to want to know what the benefits of oil pulling are, right? That’s what I talk about in the video above.
I had the best dental check-up ever after only two weeks of oil pulling, which for me proves all the benefits of oil pulling that drew me to the practice. It helps prevent cavities and gum disease and promotes good dental health. This ancient Ayurvedic practice has been used for 5,000 years to “pull” bacteria, parasites and other toxins from your teeth and mucus membranes by simply swishing a tablespoon of high quality oil in your mouth for 20 – 30 minutes once or twice a day.
According to Ayurveda, your tongue is connected to organ meridians, so tongue health is very important to your overall health, both in treating and preventing illness. In addition, as you pull the oil through your teeth and around your mouth, your tongue is able to absorb all the nutrients from the oil. Sesame oil, for example, has antiviral and anti-inflammatory properties as well as being rich in omega-3 fatty acids, iron, calcium, magnesium, copper and phosphorus and vitamins A, B and E.
Oil Pulling Directions
As soon as you wake up, before you eat, drink or brush your teeth, put a tablespoon of cold pressed oil in your mouth. Try sesame, cocoanut or sunflower oil, or alternate them.
Swish the oil around in your mouth, pulling it through your teeth and around all surfaces of your mouth.
Don`t swallow the oil! When the time is up, spit the oil into the garbage to avoid clogging your plumbing.
After you spit, rinse your mouth with a baking soda and water mix, then brush with natural toothpaste. And you’re done! Remember to use this technique daily to really experience the benefits of oil pulling! Once you give it a go, let us know how you make out!

Happy Healthy 2021!

Happy New Year! Are you ready for the best year of your life? Lets team up to make 2021 absolutely unforgettable!
th
The best way to say hello to a bright shiny new year is to kiss the last one good bye. And the best way to do that is with a gratitude list. Just list out 12 or so reasons you loved 2020. Yes that can be a bit of a stretch, what with the pandemic and all. I think it’s safe to say that all of us experienced some ups and downs, some heart-breaking moments. But I’m sure there were others when we felt we would burst with gratitude for a perfect sunrise or a special moment with a special someone. Today, lets let go of the pain and focus on the good. That’s the best way I know to start the new year with a fresh slate.
Once you’ve compiled your list, make a new one of FUTURE gratitudes for what you hope 2021 will bring! Then savor each one, blessing it for the joy it will bring you! This ‘pre-paving’ will place your order with the universe for the coming year.
While your at it, why not pick some new venture for 2021, a year of beginnings. Try yoga or Reiki, or contact me to learn how to tap into your Infinite Possibilities through a program I teach, or book an Akashic Records Soul Realignment with me!
I wish you a happy healthy New Year and thank you from the bottom of my heart for being part of mine. Much love! Alexandria
