Best Stress Relief Activities
When it comes to best stress relief activities, you can’t beat Gratitude! Feeling grateful puts you in a state of appreciation, banishing stress!
Most stress comes from projecting our worrisome thoughts into the future. This is a truly wasteful activity that not only makes you feel MORE stressed, it’s actually giving energy to something you don’t want!
On the other hand, staying grounded in the present moment and feeling grateful for all the blessings in your life will attract more good to you, through the Law of Attraction.
“Gratitude! It is one of the most powerful emotions you can use to bring all good into your life in absolute abundance. No matter who you are, no matter where you are, gratitude can dissolve all negativity in your life, no matter what form it’s taken,” says The Secret and The Power author Rhonda Byrne.
“As you focus on gratitude and think, speak and feel gratitude, you are transforming your energy frequency into one of the most powerful and highest frequencies of all . . .In other words, you will magnetize to you the energy of people, circumstances and events that will bring all good into your life.”
A really simple, easy way to incorporate gratitude into your life is to write a list each day of things you are truly grateful for. Review the list when you’re done, and savor the delicious feeling it creates!
This is one of my favorite best stress relief activities, because it puts me in such a peaceful state of mind. I recommend starting the day this way – shoot for 10 things to be grateful for. (hint – include anything you wouldn’t want to be without!) Remind yourself of items you’ve placed on this list several times throughout the day – especially any time stress rears it’s head!
Another great way to feel less stress, more appreciation, is to take stock at the end of the day before you go to sleep, and write at least 5 successes. Cultivating this habit to replace the worry habit is one of the simplest, most effective, best stress relief activities you can do to live a happier more peaceful life.
